so where the heck are the other 25?...

As you may have noticed, I've joined with a group of people and committed to taking 30 new macro photos over a 30 day period. Mostly, I've been doing one a day, but I have doubled up a few days and I have a generous reserve in case I miss a day or 10.

You may also have noticed that I've quit posting the photos here in the kudzu. The simple reason is that the photos are wider than space here allows, so I was having to make seperate, smaller versions. Too much work.

So where does that leave us. Well... It would be nice if I'd at least post the link to the photos on the original site, now wouldn't it? Ok. Ok. I guess I do owe you that much for teasing you with the first five images.

Day 6 : See The Cases
Day 7 : Time After Thyme
Day 8 : Web Of Pearls
Day 9 : The Sky Below
Day 10 : Autumn Artery
Day 11 : Bit of History
Day 12 : Mums the Word

As a bonus, I'm also including a link to some of the extra shots I took on Saturday, that I really liked. It's a series titled "Bits of History".

Enjoy!

ick...

Coleman was sick all last weekend. The virus seems to have about a four of five day incubation period. Today, four days after his sickest day on Sunday, I'm sitting in my chair, bundle up in a jacket with a sinus headache, drainage, sore throat.

Not. Good.

a string of things...

Funny how learning one thing can lead to another realization, to another. Life is twisted together in infinate and invisible strands. Here are a few from this morning :

- Biff : Remember Biff from Back to the Future? Well, he (the real guy, Tom Wilson) is quite the funny stand up comedian. He has also put out a CD of original worship music. Yep. Biff "Hey butthead" Tannin leads people in worshiping the One True God, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Odd. A quick trip to IMDB.com reveals that he also does a lot of voice acting in cartoons, including family favorite Spongebob Squarepants, which leads us to...

- Mr Crabs : While I will admit that I've watched more than my share of Spongebob, I've always found Mr. Crabs a bit creepy. Now I know why. The voice of Mr Crabs is played by another actor, Clancy Brown, who does a lot of voice work. Of course, that's not the strange part. He also played the head guard in Shawshank Redemption. And while that character is ominous enough to explain my irrational distrust of Mr. Crabs, he was also the actor who played the bad guy in the original Highlander movie. Yes, folks. That's right. The voice of Mr. Crabs, lovable purveyor of Crabby Patties is none other than Victor Kruger... The Kurgen! And I let my son watch this?!?

- Ouch! : Speaking of things I fear, never, ever, get involved on a game show in Asia. I know one tongue twister really well, but even at that, i'm not willing to test my confidence when the stakes are set that high. Or low. Aiyeeeeee.

expectations...

In previous incarnations of this web site, I made an effort to post once a day, every day. Never more. Never less. Then I started posting photos, and the writing quickly fell into the back floorboard. Soon, all you could count on was a couple of photos every Tuesday.

Now that the kudzu is no longer dormant, you can expect neither of those to be true anymore. Life is a lot more random that it was. So shall the kudzu be, if, after all, this is to reflect the tangled mass I call Bob. (Yes. My conscious mind has a boring name.)

If you like voting on photos, please direct your attention here. I regularly submit to challenges, and while Ill not tell which is mine before voting is over, (What? Me cheat?!? Never.) Youll get to see a lot of photos a lot more better than mine every week.

So, basically, this post is a warning to expect nothing, not even the unexpected. Because, really, expecting the unexpected is just silly, right? If you expected it, then, by definition, it couldnt be unexpected. Now could it? Silly.

Oh. I guess you can expect me to be silly If you want
