two'fer tuesday: have you seen my boy lately?...

He was yelling, yes, but it was in laughter. He loves bath time...

This was taken at the same time as the two from last week when I took him to watch the big tractors clearning the land for a new subdivision behind ours...

another dumb which-X-are-you quiz...

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

Take the Which Sports Car Are You? quiz.

You may have noticed that there has been no real Two'fer Tuesday yet this year, and you would be correct. Being the holiday season, my photography pursuits have been concentrated on photos of family in general and of the boy ripping paper from presents in particular. Such is life and I make no apologies, but I didn't want to subject you to my holiday slideshow. See how much I love you? I'm just so thoughtful, yes/no?

A lot of things have happened in the last few months that I guess we should take account of briefly. Coleman is now officially two years old, though he thinks he's much older. He certainly has developed his own ideas and has begun to test the waters in the gulf between those ideas and those of his loving parents. Thus history continues to repeat itself as child tests parent as parent tested grandparent as blah blah blah...

Shortly after Coleman's Birthday, came the third Blogiversary of the Kudzu. I felt no need to comment then, and little need to elaborate now, except to add that I have recently upgraded the underlying code base and plan new changes in the coming months. Lord willing and the creek don't rise, as they say...

The middle of December saw the tenth anniversary of our wedding day nuptials. Ten. Yes, you read that right. Ten. Wow. Even more recent was the 15th anniversary of our first date. Yes. You read that right. I know the anniversary of our first date. Having taken no breaks during our five years of premarital courtship, this now means that we have been together exactly half of Jennifer's life. Yep. We hit that milestone for me in 3 more years... Stay tuned...

Not much else I can think of to report. The typical kudzu day consists of "Work. Sleep. Repeat." with which I'm sure many of you are intimately familure. Still... The days are getting longer, the weather slightly warmer, and God still continues to shower blessings on the righteous and the wicked. I only know that this covers me...

a year in pictures...

So, no Two'fer Tuesday today, but then, such laziness you've come to expect from me, right? And I do promise that the slumber is subsiding. Regular posts will resume shortly. Promise.

In the mean time, I thought it was slightly past time for the 2005 Year End Review*. A year in pictures is a beautiful thing, yes? For those of you just itching to vote, feel free to leave a comment about your favorite photo. As with last year, the first individual to correctly identify in a comment my favorite photo of last year will win a free print of their choosing.

* Those of you with dial up, be warned...

waking up slowly...

There exists in this world a perfect cup of coffee. Where, I don't know, but I'm sure it exists and I aim to find it one day.

For now, there is, in my mug, a decent cup of coffee that will do just fine for now...
